My name is Cyrus Bakhtiyari and I am a skilled computer application/technical support analyst, web developer and or software developer.
I am currently completing my 3rd year of studies towards an Information Security Specialist Honours Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Toronto.
I am a member of net enabled generation that has embraced computers and more importantly the internet as a part of my childhood. Initially intrigued by the lure of online gaming, I soon recognized computers and an online presence as a way of self promotion as a provider of an online web hosting business named X-Serverz (Extreme Serverz). I established this business at the age of 13 and it grew to a client base of over 200 concurrent users. A large part of the survival and growth of X-Serverz depended on sound security as well as automated web based systems for billing/control/support. I was the architect of both.
Recognizing the need and value of a sound post secondary education and to ensure I realize my potential in a career I gravitated towards as a child, I applied to and was admitted into University of Toronto.
In 2010, my name was added to the University of Toronto Dean’s List for outstanding achievement in computer programming and I was voted into the Math, Computer Science and Statistics (MCSS) as the Web Master.

I bring to the table a unique blend of computer skills as well as a sound understanding that people come first as clients and as members of a team. Indeed, I have an excellent grasp of team member responsibilities as a member of a gold medal soccer team at University of Toronto last year.
It is through the establishment of sound business relationships that companies prosper. Computers and the internet are enablers, especially with the advent of social media. Collaboration is a necessity and this is how I was raised.
